What started out as a gaming platform has evolved into so much more. I am talking about twitch, where folks can stream video games, watch eSport competitions live, find great upcoming musicians, discuss politics and so much more.
It’s a platform that is not only for boys, as more and more female streamers are joining it in huge numbers. When there are female streamers involved things are bound to get hot, both in a good way and a bad way. You get streamers like Amouranth, which operate in a shade of gray and are always surrounded by controversy, but then you also get true gamer girls who are not only beautiful but also extremely talented. So today I have compiled a list of my favorite female Twitch streamers and I have only one thing to say to them. More power to you gals!!!
1. POKIMANE
You will hardly find a list of female streamers where Pokimane is not on the top. Even though this is a list of my favorite streamers, I am still inclined to add her to the list, as she is undoubtedly an OG on the streaming platform.
Her name is Imane Any and she is a Moroccan Canadian who resides in Canada and has a whopping 8.5 million followers. She became famous for her Fortnite and LOL streams but since then she has diversified, even trying her hand at ASMR.
Probably the most famous female streamer, she hasn’t let her fame get to her and is known to be very humble, even doing the famous Pokimane No Makeup stream to encourage body positivity.
But as I write this, she got banned from Twitch; let’s just hope it doesn’t last long.
2. LOSERFRUIT
One of the most standout and talented streamers on the platform, Loserfruit is an absolute ray of sunshine. Her real name is Kathleen Belsten and she comes from the land down under. She has over 2.7 million followers on twitch and is known to play such classics as Witcher 3 and Fortnite.
Among other things she likes to make Vlogs and is known to edit her streams while broadcasting, if that is not real talent then I don’t know what is. Overall she is a true icon for all gamer girls.
3. LOEYA
Olivia Sigg is her real name and she comes to us from Sweden. She has over 1.5 million followers on Twitch and they are affectionately known as “loeyalists”. Compared to other streamers, she is relatively new, having joined the streaming industry in 2017. But her immense success is a testament to her talents.
Growing up her absolute favorite game was The Sims, but she likes to stream a variety of games like Counter-Strike, Fortnite, and Sea of Thieves to name a few. If all this doesn’t make her likable enough, then you need to look at her two adorable Scottish fold cats.
4. ItsHAFU
One of the points of contention for me on Twitch is that when it comes to MMORPGs like World of Warcraft, you find a lot of famous female streamers. Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of female streamers who like to play World of Warcraft but none at the level of Hafu.
Born to Chinese immigrant parents in America, Rumay Wang has 1.3 million followers. On her bio, it says she has been playing games since she was 14 and on her stream, you can find her playing games like Hearthstone, Teamfight Tactics, and of course World of Warcraft. I guess we know what her favorite genre is, but don’t worry, she plays other games as well.
5. KITTYPLAYS
She is one of the hottest and most famous streamers on twitch with her 1.1 million follower count. When not streaming, she goes by Kristen Michaela and resides in Los Angeles US, although she was born in Canada.
Her favorite games include Overwatch and PUBG, but nowadays you can find her streaming, Valorant and Fortnite. Other than gaming, she also does a lot of vlogs and talks to the audience about all kinds of things. In her hay day, you could find her streaming twice a day, but now she is on a lot less, which in hindsight makes us appreciate her more.
